Resume: After an accident that almost destroys his career, Santiago has been reclusive and depressed since. Not having hopes or courage to face the real world, his life takes a turn when Chloe breaks into his house when she's in a personal mission herself. Chloe knows that falling in love with Santiago is a mistake but she can't stop herself. Santiago has to face the biggest obstacle to their relationship: himself. Together, they understand that even imperfections are perfect fit.

“Because in the end, nothing is more fearful than realizing life goes on, with or without you”

↝ 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤: fake dating, grumpy sunshine, forced proximity, sports romance.

I waited for what felt like years for Redeemed and it didn't disappoint. Santiago is all grump and lost, Chloe is one of the kindest sunshine characters we will ever meet. The way they fit with each other is so perfect.

Both main characters are well built. As slow burn, the author took her time to develop both of them, so they could face their struggles and move on. It was painful to see Santiago's pain but the way Chloe is with him, how she smooths him and shows him that all is ok, warmed my heart.

There is no dout that Lauren Asher did her research. The way she approaches the disability topic shows she knows about it, not only physically but also mentally. We have only to praise the authors that do that.

While painful, Redeemed is also about hope, strenght, compassion and love. It show us that outside world is nothing when we believe in ourselves, that we love ourselves. It's truly inspiring.

Consider to give it a chance if you haven't. I believe you may find one of your favorite stories and characters here. I for sure did!
